The whole process with Erie was great. Ryan was wonderful to talk to. When install happened, just a couple of weeks later, installers showed up early, put up the entire roof, and cleaned up before walking around and leaving. They finished after 8, so it was dark, but we're looking forward to seeing it in the light of day. Again, great experience. Thank you Erie!
I saw the ad for Erie Home on Instagram and out of curiosity, I requested an estimate. Mike Cross contacted me and my husband, Marvin, and scheduled an appointment the next day. Mike was very professional, checked out our property and even climbed on the roof to inspect the old roof (it was even sprinkling rain). After his inspection, we went inside my house and we all 3 sat down and went over the products and also went over what he saw on our old roof. Talking to Mike was professional and comfortable, he was very knowledgeable about the products the company offered and covered the warranties in detail. We decided to have our old tin roof replaced (the roof that originally was put on our house in the 1940s) with their Monaco Red shingles. The process took around a week to complete, from the initial visit to the day of the roof being complete. The guys showed up at 7am on Friday, March 1, 2024 to repair and replace our roof. The crew put tarps all around the perimeter of our house to gather up any materials they tore off the roof, they replaced boards that needed replaced and placed an icebreaker shield and their special roofing materials then the shingles. The guys were finished by 3:30pm and cleaned up the area completely before they left our residence. It was a very good experience and now I need to get my siding done so that my house will look even better. I want to post before and after pictures but for some reason it won't let me. It is a beautiful roof now! I would recommend Erie Home to anyone. Promise you won't regret it.
The materials were delivered and neatly packaged. The crew showed up the next day before it was light they worked diligently until 8 o’clock in the evening, and came back the next day to finish the project by noon. The materials were of high quality with the possible exception of the gutter guards, which seemed somewhat minimalist, but as they were provided without cost, we are not complaining. The crew cleaned up the site, so as nothing could be found on the ground or the roof after they left all in all, I think they did an excellent job.

Gavin and his team helped me to work with our insurance company to get our roof replaced after hail storm. I am really happy with them. Our insurance was dragging their feet but Storm Guard was persistent and worked diligently to get everything approved. Thank you so much!

Francis Purcell was my sales person and inspector, he was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience very simple. Storm guard handled the whole process from start to finish with my insurance company. They were able to get my entire roof replaced with only my deductible out of pocket. I decided to upgrade my shingles to a class 4 wind resistant shinglefor a few hundred dollars more which saved me even more on my Home owners insurance premium. All this in less than a week. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend Francis and Storm guard for your roof, siding, and gutter repairs.
Update (1/24): We had StormGuard replace our roof and gutters after we were impressed with the siding. They did a fantastic job through the whole process. We had the pleasure of working with Tressa and Tim again.. they make my life so much easier and are always a pleasure to work with.We had a neighbor's tree fall on our siding. StormGuard took care of EVERYTHING. They worked with my insurance to make sure I was getting what I pay for. I didn't have to lift a finger.The install was absolutely beautiful. What more can I say about Cap City restoration and Jamie beyond all the great things that have already been shared? We reached out to Cap City after a hailstorm left our roof leaking in about a half a dozen spots; I had the pleasure of speaking with Jamie, their account manager, who came out to our house, assessed the damage, provided a detailed breakdown of the likely source of each leak, and thoroughly explained the insurance claim process. Of the eight or so companies I reached out to, Jamie was the one rep that I felt confident would be there to support us through the insurance coverage process and would ensure the work was done right. He was patient with all of our questions and was committed to making sure the roof would be repaired in a way that we were happy with.Throughout the two or so months, when we were jumping through all of the insurance company’s hoops, Jamie was patient and responsive. He is an expert on navigating the insurance coverage process and his friendly demeanor (along with his deep knowledge of the industry) clearly went along way when communicating with our adjuster. When the claim was approved, and it came time to replace our roof, Jamie helped us pick shingles that would really complement our home, and explained all of the compliance upgrades that we would be receiving.The contractors from Cap City were similarly experts in their work. They came out early in the morning and worked until late in the evening to get the job done. Most impressive was not only how efficiently they worked, but how they managed to keep our yard clean and debris free. Everything I had read about having your roof replaced suggested our yard would be littered with nails and broken shingles. While there were a few nails and shingles that were determined to sneak by, Cap City’s contractors did a phenomenal job collecting nearly every piece of debris. Honestly, it’s a pretty amazing feat when you consider the major undertaking of replacing your roof (removing hundreds if not thousands of old old nails and shingles only to replace them with hundreds of nails and shingles).After all was said and done with the roof replacement, I saw two contractors remained on site going back and forth through the yard with a magnet, collecting any and all stragglers. The next morning, I was genuinely so amazed to find the yard was cleaner than it had been before the roof replacement.Thank you so much Cap City and crew for all your hard work and for your commitment to customer care!
