Erie Homes does a professional job from start to finish. They informed us well about roofing materials and options. They worked with our budget. Done in one day and it looks beautiful! Clean up was very important to us since we have grandkids and animals. They did a stellar clean up job.
From the inspection to the install, Erie Home went above and beyond. They went over what needed to be done, and familiarized me with the materials that would best suit my situation.The installers arrived early and set up quickly. They made sure to protect my property and set out tarps to aid in cleanup.They let me know exactly what they were going to do and answered any questions I had. They completed the job quickly and competently. They took exceptional care during the cleanup and left my yard in better shape than when they arrived.Gary went over the completed job with me and explained the paperwork. He also took the time to point out some repair work that they had to do to the sheathing.From start to finish, there was nothing I didn’t feel comfortable about. No high pressure sales pitch, and everyone that I had contact with were courteous and helpful.Definitely an amazing organization and would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a roof.

We had a pretty pleasant overall experience with Erie home to replace our roof. They were fast and professional. Even moved our date for replacement up and in little more than a week all our roof problems were gone. Even our neighbor came over to tell us that the Erie crew looked much more professional than the company he recently used. The new roof looks great and it's nice to not worry every time a bit of weather happens!

We had an old roof with a caving in spot. They came and assessed the roof. They used a cool drone to take pictures. Then they came out after a few days and put in our new roof. Paco came and cleaned up the yard very nicely afterwards. All around a good job.
I had a good experience with BLC Roofing when I had my roof replaced. I developed leaks during the winter when ice dams formed on my roof. As soon as the snow melted, Carl gave me an estimate for both repair of the leaking area and for a full replacement. Due to the cost of repairs, and the poor condition of my existing roof, I opted for the full replacement. BLC’s quote was about 15% less than the other quotes I received.The debris trailer was parked in my driveway the day before installation day. The next morning, the roofing crew arrived at 7:30 and immediately started the removal. Several sheets of bad plywood had to be replaced, then the new roof was installed. Carl was on site for much of the day, communicating to me and to the crew if something needed attention. The work was mostly finished by 6:30 pm, but the crew stayed longer to do additional cleanup.I was very happy with the appearance of the new roof, and I’m pretty confident that the crew did a good job on the installation. From my perspective it appeared that they worked quickly but cared about doing good work, periodically checking to make sure the edges were straight or that the shingles were nailed correctly. Part of the crew began checking the ground for nails and debris, and they made a great effort despite my out-of-control landscaping. No one will ever find all the nails, but I was surprised by how few I found afterwards.I have already recommended BLC Roofing to a friend who needs a roof replacement.

When we started getting estimates to get our siding replaced, Brandon the owner, was very upfront about costs and potential issues that may come up when doing the job. He was more concerned about doing the job right than how much he was going to make. He wanted to make sure when they were done, that we were satisfied. And man are we ever. There were some things that came up that needed to be done over and above the normal scope of work and it was done at no extra cost. His prices were better or comparable to all others we had quote us. All of the crew were very respectful to my wife and I and cleaned up at the end of every day. Very good attention to detail and complete pros. Brandon was always there to answer any questions we had. It was never a bother like you get from some companies. Ultimately the reviews are what made us consider him in the first place, but his price, personal approach and professionalism are what sold us. Money well spent and we will recommend him and his people to all of our friends and family. Actually our one son is going to have him quote his house once he saw ours. My husband & I were searching for a company to put Vinyl siding on our 1880 Victorian home. After 2 years of disappointingly high estimates from other local companies, we called Brandon at Homegrown roofing and construction. Because this company was actually affordable we were a little skeptical. You know the saying, "You get what you pay for". That saying does not apply in this case. We were blown away with the level of skill & professionalism of his crew. Nothing is square or straight about an old house, but they are so good at what they do they made it look easy. They came on schedule everyday and even asked to work the weekend while the weather was good. I could go on & on about how impressed we are with them but if your like me & hate reading log reviews just look at the pictures. FYI, we hope to have them back to put vinyl siding and a new roof on our hobby barn in the near future.
Early this spring, a very nice young man and his dad stopped by and dropped off a business card. They let me know they were fairly certain that should I choose to have them assess my roof and submit it to insurance, I would be covered for a new roof due to storm damage. I had had several other companies take a look previous to that, each saying it would be too challenging to get our insurance to do so. For Brandon and Cameron, they said they’d do everything necessary and take on the challenge. I didn’t think anything would come of it, but I’m so very glad I gave them to do what others said couldn’t be done. It took several months, multiple submissions of information to our insurance company, but to my incredible surprise and delight, this past Wednesday, our roof went from old and brittle to new and gorgeous. Cameron came out to the house and brought several samples, so we could see the options in real life. Brandon provided a couple addresses, so we could see our final choices on a large scale and feel confident moving forward. The roofing crew was so efficient, and completed the entire job in one day, even though the weather wasn’t ideal. Brandon came by the next morning just to make sure everything was exactly how I had expected. I can’t recommend Homegrown enough! What a huge relief to know we are entering winter with a secure roof, and I know if there are any future issues, Brandon will take my call and assist immediately. Thanks, Homegrown!
