Once again James swooped in and saved our bacon. We are in the process of selling our home, the inspection was due and we found the pool heater had a leak! James fixed and the inspection went great.

Riverbend Sandler Pools made our dream backyard come true! Hank was our designer and he transformed an idea I had from a sketch drawing to the perfect design. He took the time to review our wish list, explained options, and completely understood our style. You can tell from the Riverbend Sandler showroom that they are pioneers in the industry with quality work and innovative building techniques that other pool builders are not doing with their construction. These details are what set them apart from other builder’s quotes we received. Hank was always available for questions throughout the construction process and worked with our project manager for any design changes. Ron was our project manager and he was available through text/call whenever we had questions. He resolved any concerns that came up during the process. The crews they use for different phases were professional, friendly, and worked well with separate contractors I used for different parts of our project. Tom was very helpful and personable during Pool School. We didn’t feel rushed at all and he took the time to make sure we felt comfortable before leaving.

I rarely give reviews but this one is worth it! I would like to share our wonderful experience with Riverbend Sandler Pools. We have always wanted a pool but were concerned about the nightmare stories we’d heard, but we went for and man are we glad we did! From start to finish the customer service, responsiveness, professionalism, integrity and work ethic was and still is amazing! Starting with Matt Hitchcock our sales advisor and designer. He was so patient, answered lots of questions, was consistent with follow through and checking on us EVEN AFTER THE SALE WOW! Dave Casper our project manager so supportive, encouraging, responsive with our million questions, text messages and phone calls. He reassured us over and over again everything would be great.THANK YOU DAVE, couldn’t have done this without you! After the pool construction was over we decided to go with pool maintenance with Riverbend. Trey in the service department was so kind, responsive and knowledgeable, he even stopped by on his way home from work to make sure everything was ok. Abel our pool cleaner is amazing! He does such a thorough job, shows up every week consistently around the same time, and answers our thousand questions. He even showed me how to use our hand held vacuum and let me video him so we’d remember how to do.Fiona in financing was so kind as well. We are so pleased with Riverbend Sandler and would HIGHLY recommend them again! If you’re thinking about getting a pool please only use Riverbend Sandler it’s worth the peace of mind and investment!

Once again Tom(service mgr.) and his team took care of my pool repairs in a very timely manner. A couple of months ago I called Tom for some repairs on my pool and within a day or so Tom was out to fix my pool. Last week I had a pool light go out and within a day his team came out to fix it. Tom and his team do a fabulous job for me and always take care of my needs in a timely manner. Thanks!! You guys are great!! Merry Christmas!!🎄🎁 🎅🏻

After shopping around we decided to go with Riverbend and I have to say it was the best decision! Everything from start to finish was done with excellence. Eric Noris did an amazing job designing our pool and listening to my concerns and being honest about what would or wouldn’t work for our space. Dave Casper supervised the construction phase and was great at communicating with us and answer ALL my questions no matter how big or small. The construction crew was excellent under Dave’s supervision. Both Eric and Dave stayed engaged with us throughout the process and it really felt painless. Our pool turned out amazing…better than I could have ever imagined. I would definitely build with them again and have recommended them to all of our neighbors and friends. Thank you for giving us the backyard of our dreams!

We are very pleased with our Riverbend Sandler pool!! From the design stage all the way to completion, everyone did a great job of communicating and keeping us up to date on the progress. Our designer Hank Henry did a good job of listening to our wishes and turning them into a beautiful design. We couldn't have been happier. Our project manager, Francisco, was awesome!! He did a fantastic job of communicating the timeline and what was going on throughout the process. He was always quick to respond to a text or phone call. We've built 3 pools over the last 25 years and this was by far the best experience we've had!!

Absolutely the worst possible service. They never fill the chlorine salts. Within 2 days it's low. They broke my stone over the leaf skimmers and of course deny it. The guy that did the service never checked for issues because he didn't know how too. They charge 125.00 fee just to drive to your house if you want a repair. Run don't walk away from these people. You are better off hiring a homeless guy off the street.

Hobert Pools built my family an amazing, beautiful pool. The process was seamless from design to finish. They install pentair equipment that can all be controlled from your smartphone. They also use Pebbletech finishes that are known for their longevity and beauty. Finally, if there are any issues, they make it right! I wholly recommend this builder and believe that they are the best in the business.

5 years ago we had Hobert Pools do a pool installation with extensive decking and an outdoor kitchen. Almost $100K and we were thrilled with the final product. But after just a few months, problems began. We installed high-end Travertine paver decking that began to become unstable with sinking and rising pavers - most notably along the run above a trench dug for French drain installation as part of the pool/decking installation. Sure, we live in N TX with shifting soil, so a bit of instability expected, but this was pretty bad and was noted very early after installation. Our reports of these problems to the company began by email June 2019-less than 1 year after completion of the installation - requesting assessment and assistance from Hobert Pools. We have a series of emails documented from then to Oct 2022 - all with e-mail replies from the company confirming their receipt, but none with any response/action by the company as the deterioration continued to progress. Finally, after a call to Hobert Pools Oct 2022 - 40 months after our first report of the problems – was a Hobert employee sent to evaluate; no subsequent follow up or action.Over the next year, just keeps getting worse progressing to disintegration of a grill/fridge brick enclosure. So we again asked company to assess, which was done by the same Hobert employee ~Nov 2023; he escalated the issue to management. Now after 2 months again with absolutel no follow up or action by the company; I am posting reviews and have filled Better Business Bureau complaint. We now have quotes for repair from 3 decking companies, each documenting in their quote that in their independent opinions, that much of the problem is due to poor workmanship/installation.Updated review in Response to Hobert Pools representative's comments below to rebut just a couple of specific points:a) our reports to the company began by email June 2019 - not Oct 2022b) the comment about sewer line replacement is not relevant; that was trenched and installed 57 years ago so with completely stable ground above-never with a leak or any other problem and with the entire run of the line from house-to-alley intact and with no evidence of leakage at any point along the line, all documented by the plumbing company. The sewer line was replaced as part of a home renovation of all lines and ducts in our 57 year old house. But, since the trench is commented on, what is also visible in the picture above the iron sewer line is the white PVC pipe of the French drain installed when the pool/decking was installed, and indeed, the worst of the shifting in the pavers runs above that trench; I believe the problems along the French drain strongly implicate inadequate backfill/compaction of that trenching by the Hobert team underpinning much of the problem. But, the problems with the decking first reported to the company June 2019 within 10 months of installation and ultimately, disintegration of the brick grill/fridge enclosure reported Nov 2023 extend well beyond the area of the French drain. Finally, a week after this initial posting of review (with parallel exchange in a Better Business Bureau complaint filed at same time as this initial post)-we got an e-mail estimate for repairs from Hobert Pools for over $25,000 with no additional communication otherwise and the company taking no responsibility, offering no assistance to remedy the problem, and no apologies.

This is the first pool we had built and was not sure why to expect. Hobert had a nice presentation, CAD and was able to answer every question along the way.The only draw back has been time. The project has taken ~7 months to complete mostly due to the following: 1. The town we live in has been very difficult to work with on permits. 2. The build started late fall and through the winter 3. Supply chain challenges.

Updated 08/24/2021I typically don’t write reviews but this is an exception to that! We started working with Hobert Pools and Spas in September of 2020 and signed the contract in October 2020. Our sales representative was completely MIA after that, he didn’t return text messages, phone calls or emails. In retrospect that was a sign of what’s coming next. Our pool build was supposed to start in January but the excavation didn’t start until February 2nd due to weather which was understandable. We were told that we required 14 steel piers to re-enforce the given our backyard was sloped, come to find weeks later via email that the pool required 56 steel piers at over a $110.00 per piece. No one told us on during the excavation. Now it’s over budget! During this project we had a total of three project managers, all changes with out notifications and whatever discussions happened between the project managers those conversation were never transferred, so I would end up having the same conversation multiple times. The third project manager acted like he was doing us a favor at times. It felt like Hobert Pools and Spas were paying us to build the pool. Then communication between Hobert Pools is done via text primarily which is just ridiculous. Almost nothing happens when they tell you.We were told that we needed two pallets of SOD to cover the yard but come to find out we needed an additional two pallets of SOD. Like many other customers have said, we learned that Hobert Pools doesn’t take any responsibility for there mistakes the hard way. With that being said, we are now again paying for Hobert Pools poor judgment on specking the job. On top of that, they laid the SOD on top of the weeds that grew while waiting for the plaster to be completed. See the pictures of the state that they left my yard. Now I spend my weekends and evenings spraying and pulling out the weeds so that it doesn’t take over the lawn. And now I have to purchase additional SOD and lay it down myself.Good luck with getting a call back from Victor, to date he has returned a call. Also even if you take the time to go to the office, no one is ever available to address your concerns. This was supposed to be an exciting project but Hobert Pools made it a miserable and frustrating project full of regret. The typical response to most of the issues is we have been in business for 45 yrs. the current business practice will not sustain for much longer.I must say Sherry,Dylan, Tim and Jacque definitely take pride in there job. It’s just sad that upper management does not.Be careful with this company!

It took 2 years to convince my wife and frankly myself that putting in a pool was a good idea. March of 2018 we had Hobert take a look at the project first. Michael from the Murphy office did a great job explaining the process and all the different options that you can add to a pool. He came to our house to see the layout of the yard and asked detailed questions to determine our needs and wants with our new pool. A few days later he showed us a digital rendering of the pool complete with landscaping, day and night views, as well as different viewing angles. He really brought our vision to life. As a smart consumer I shopped around to 2 other pool companies, but I eventually came back to Hobert and I'll tell you why. This company has been around a long time and has built a reputation for quality, customer service, and superior design. They are not the cheapest, but when your making this kind of investment into your home the word cheap shouldn't be in the conversation. Thank you Hobert Pools for turning our backyard into an oasis.

From the very start, Summerhill emerged as an honest and responsive company to work with, guiding an easy design process and answering all of our first-timer questions along the way. We built in spring 2022, when pools were taking much longer to finish due to supply constraints, but Summerhill started our build in late Feb and had us swimming by May! We continue to use them for our servicing, because they left such a great impression on customer service.

I am so happy with my experience with Summerhill Pools! Our pool was challenging to design because of the limitations of the small size of the lot, located up a hill, and replacing an existing patio. But they were up to the task! The result is beautiful and my grandkids are loving it!!

Across the board, very happy. Great initial design work & collaborative. A large project that included pool, hot tub, massive concrete pavers, custom planter installation, waterfall feature, large deck, custom awning, outdoor sculpture art area & yoga area. Final product is beautiful!

Can’t say enough about this team. Bryce walked us through the design process and turned our vision into a reality. The video rendering he did before construction matched the final product. He also connected us with landscaping and lighting to finish the look. I did a lot of searching before committing to Summerhill and I’m confident we made the right decision. We continue to use them for our weekly pool service. Also, a neighbor was complaining about their pool company and asked us about Summerhill. The neighbor ended up switching their service and are happy with their choice. All around these are good people.

Summerhill was amazing to work with and would highly recommend for anyone considering building a pool. Bryce, Jacob and David were great to work with and created the perfect pool for us.

Summerhill Pools designed and built our custom pool and we could not be happier with our decision to work with them. From the get-go, they were incredibly responsive and supportive in walking us through a process with which we had no prior experience. They designed a pool responsive to our desires and visions, and helped us to explore new options that they (correctly) thought would enhance the pool's form and function. Construction was complete - from groundbreaking to sun-bathing - in 13 weeks, well ahead of schedule, and they have been quick to address any remaining construction items subsequently. All along the way, we received regular texts and updates about next steps, and when to expect new crews coming through our yard. I would use them again in a heartbeat, and you should too.

We had an incredible experience with Summerhill! Bryce put together design options, one of which we fell in love with and ultimately selected. Bryce makes a YouTube video that simulates what your pool will look like which really helped us visualize the pool in our yard. We received 4 quotes, no other pool builder put together as extensive of a proposal as Summerhill. They were the only company to provide a simulated video. I highly recommend you check out their YouTube channel. We checked references and went to see one of their builds near us in Lakewood, which is stunning. After we selected our design, Bryce gave us great tile/coping suggestions. Summerhill was extremely quick to apply for permits and start our build. From start to finish our pool build and turf installation was 3 months to the day! We broke ground February 1 and were swimming May 1 (with two snowstorms during that time!). We had a smooth build, only a few minor things that they had to fix which they fixed immediately. We have had ZERO issues with our pool and are about 5 months into enjoying it every day. Highly recommend Summerhill and happy to serve as a reference!

How Much Does A 12×24 Inground Pool Cost In Dallas?

Practical Dallas homeowners know that considering the cost of a pool installation is a great place to start. The cost of a 12×24 inground pool in Dallas can be impacted by the pool design, materials, features, and installation requirements. Adding top of the line customization and upgrades can also impact your pool’s price tag.

Pools cost an average of $50-$125 per square foot. The best way to determine what a 12×24 pool will cost you, get free estimates from Dallas pool builders. Start by connecting with licensed and insured contractors with a long-standing reputation. At TGUC Financial you can narrow down your search in minutes. Plus, you can even access competitive financing offers with no credit impact. When you realize how easy our platform is you’ll be ready to dive into the deep end and build the pool of your dreams.

What Is The Most Expensive Part To Install An Inground Pool In Dallas?

Generally when you build a pool you’ll be looking at one number for most of the project. While there will be design decisions along the way that can impact cost, you should have a good idea of cost before diving in. Typically the concrete and activity associated with laying it will consume a large part of the budget.

What Type Of Pool Is Most Cost Effective For The Dallas Area?

Once you have a better understanding of the pool installation pricing, you can start considering your pool design and materials. Vinyl-lined pools tend to be the most cost-effective option for Dallas homeowners. Vinyl-lined pools are constructed using a flexible vinyl liner that covers a steel or polymer frame.

That being said, it’s essential to weigh the cost-effectiveness of a vinyl-lined pool against your specific needs, preferences, and budget. Once you connect with a Dallas pool builder with TGUC Financial, you can consult with your contractor to get an accurate estimate of the costs involved in installing and maintaining different types of pools to help you make an informed decision. The cheapest option upfront is not always the cheapest option long-term.

What Is The Most Durable Pool Construction For Dallas?

Concrete pools are often considered to be the most durable option for pool construction in Dallas. Concrete pools can be easily customized and constructed in almost any shape, size, or depth. They’re also notably resistant to wear and tear, making them an excellent choice if you’re looking to get the most of your home pool.

Is It Worth The Money To Build A Pool In Dallas?

Whether building a pool in Dallas is worth the money depends on your unique situation and preferences. While it can be a rewarding experience, you’ll want to make sure it aligns with your goals and budget. To make a pool more affordable, consider financing options. At TGUC Financial you can unlock pool financing offers with no impact on your credit score. When evaluating if a pool is for you or not, consider the following:

  • Climate: As I’m sure you already know, Dallas has a hot and humid climate, which means you’ll likely get a lot of use out of your pool during the hot summer months. Enjoying a cool and refreshing dip in the pool can be a huge plus for many Dallas homeowners.
  • Property Value: Adding a pool to your property can increase its value and make it more attractive to potential buyers in the future. Especially if your pool includes special customizations, like lighting or a waterfall. Hello, water feature!
  • Lifestyle: If you enjoy entertaining and spending time outdoors, a pool can be a great addition to your backyard and can provide a space for relaxation and recreation for you, your family, and your friends.
  • Cost: Building a pool can be an expensive process. The cost can be largely influenced by the pool size, materials used, and additional special features, like decorative tiles or a spa.
  • Maintenance: A pool does require regular maintenance, which can include cleaning, water testing, and chemical balancing. This can be time-consuming and expensive.

How Long Does It Take To Build A Pool In Dallas?

Building a pool in Dallas can take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks. Check with your pool builder for a timeline estimate. Typically the 6 phases of building a pool are. . .

#1. Design phase: This can take several weeks, depending on how long it takes to finalize the design, obtain necessary permits and approvals, and order the necessary materials.

#2. Excavation: This usually takes 1 to 2 days, depending on the size of the pool and the amount of earthwork                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 required.

#3. Pool shell construction: This can take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the type of pool construction and the materials used.

#4. Plumbing and electrical work: This usually takes 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the system.

#5. Finishing touches: This includes installing coping, tiles, and other finishing touches, which can take anywhere from a few days to a week.

#6. Pool start-up and testing: This involves filling the pool with water and ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly, which can take a few days.

Should I DIY My Pool In Dallas?

While there are many DIY projects you can surprise yourself with completing, a pool is usually not one of them.

Building a pool requires specialized knowledge, equipment, and experience that most Dallas homeowners don’t possess. A professional pool contractor has the necessary training and tools to complete the project safely and efficiently.

  • Installation is expensive
  • Maintenance costs are for a lifetime
  • Approval or permits may be needed
  • Rodents may be attracted to warm pool equipment (take action to protect your investment)

  • Ensure the pool builder of your choice is licensed and insured
  • Prepare to have your backyard be a construction zone for several weeks
  • Pools need to be filled regularly
  • Pool can impact insurance costs

What Is The Cheapest Type Of Pool To Build In Dallas?

Generally an above-ground pool will be the cheapest option. If you’re just looking for a pool to cool down in, this may get the job done. However, if you’re looking to transform your yard into a little paradise, an inground pool offers much more appeal.

What Time Of Year Is Cheapest To Build A Pool In Dallas?

As you’re planning and taking the necessary steps to build your little piece of paradise, you may want to consider the time of year you’re building your pool. The cost of building a pool in Dallas can be affected by the season and weather conditions. Typically, the cheapest time to build a pool in Dallas is in the fall and winter months.

Does A Pool Increase Property Value In Dallas?
