Disclosing Your Information With Consumer Reporting Agencies

Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs) collect and maintain information on consumer and business credit profiles on behalf of organizations in the United States. We may share information about you with CRAs and may carry out periodic searches with them to verify your identity or manage your account.

Details of your account(s) with us may be sent to CRAs and recorded by them. This information may be supplied by CRAs and may be used and searched by us and other organizations, such as lenders, service providers, and debt collection agencies, for permissible purposes including:

  • manage and collect on your accounts;
  • verify identity and prevent fraud; and

You have rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including: 

  • The right to obtain an annual copy of your credit file from CRAs by visiting https://www.annualcreditreport.com;
  • The right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information with the CRA and us;
  • The right to be informed if information in your credit report has been used against you, such as in denying credit or other adverse actions, along with information on how to obtain a copy of your credit report used in the decision; and
  • The right to restrict sharing of your information with nonaffiliated third parties in certain circumstances.

Modification of Personal Information; Opting Out

To ensure that You have appropriate control over your personally identifiable information, if You would like to review and/or request changes to the personally identifiable information that we have collected about You through Your use of this Site, please contact us in writing or by sending an email to the address below. At Your request and as permitted by law, we will remove Your name and other personally identifiable information from our active databases. Please understand, however, that it may be impossible to remove this information completely, due to backups and records of deletions. If you wish to remove Your name and other personally identifiable information from our database, please send an email to the address listed in this Privacy Policy. As an alternative, you may write to TGUC Financial with your request, at the mailing address set forth herein. You will be removed from our active databases within ten (10) business days of our receipt of Your request. You may also request to review or amend any personal information that we maintain about you, by sending a written request to the same address, subject to our verification of Your identity and acceptance of any proposed revision.

Third Parties: Except as described in this Privacy Policy, we do not share personally identifiable information with anyone, unless we have informed You of a change to our Privacy Policy and given You the opportunity to then choose to opt-out. We can no longer update any of Your personally identifiable information once it has been transferred to such third parties and cannot implement Your opt-out requests upon such third parties. Instead, You must either contact that third party or refer to its privacy policy to update Your personally identifiable information.
